Growth form: Tree. Flowering. Mar–Apr. Status: Introduced. Common. Not in other Gulf areas. Habitat & distribution: Occasional to locally frequent where planted in gardens and roadsides. Rarely naturalised. Uses: Planted along roadsides as a shade tree. The fruits are edible.
