Description:
The 36-square-kilometre nature reserve was founded pursuant to Law No. 7 of 2005 in northeast Doha and measure around 36 square kilometers. It was chosen in line with the biodiversity strategy objectives and to limit the rapid urbanization on Qatar’s eastern coast. Al Wasil, which has distinctive geological aspects, is significant to the ruling family as one of the largest historical locations.
