Growth form: Annual herb. Flowering. Mar. Status: Native. Common. Also recorded: Bahrain, E Saudi Arabia, UAE. Habitat & distribution: Occasional in shallow sand, especially depressions and runnels. Uses: El Amin noted that the plant is eaten by ‘rabbits' (i.e. Cape Hare Lepus capensis).
