Growth form: Annual or biennial herb. Flowering. Mar–Apr. Status: Native. Very common. Also recorded: Bahrain, Kuwait, E Saudi Arabia, UAE. Habitat & distribution: Frequent to abundant on harder substrates; mainly C and S Qatar. Uses: Grazed by animals, especially goats and sheep (El Amin).
