Description:
Growth form: Annual herb. Flowering. Feb–Mar. status: Introduced. Rare. First record: SW Qatar, March 2007 (S. Aspinall). Not in other Gulf Floras. habitat & distribution: A weed of crops such as chick-pea, so the record may refer to a plant that had escaped from a cultivated area. Not recorded elsewhere in the Gulf and possibly not from the Arabian Peninsula, but known from the Mediteranean region.
